Does @LengthOfPageList Function works in the condition(expression)..??

I've a requirement to set the visibility of a Dynamic Layout by a condition(expression) with the size of a PageList.

When @LengthOfPageList(.pagelistname) Function tried, it is throwing error.

The alternative I'm going is "when rule".

Does anyone know why @LengthOfPageList isn't working there..?

Or even any other functions to fulfill the requirement.?
