Display row as columns(PIVOT) with Join in Report definition

Hi ,

I have a requirement in pega to display join of two tables(table 1 normal, table 2 pivot the table) using report definition only.

PFA..(table data.txt) for better understanding.
I tried by using report defination but i used the aggregate function so the data is coming as summary report but i want data in tabular format so that can use in report defination in the UI.
Can any one suggest me for good approach because dynamic columns creation is happening and pega provides dynamic grid option only with report definition.

Hi Sonu,

Can you try making appropriate Clipboard Structure and then push it to page list.

Then you can use pagelist to populate RepeatGrid/Table as required.

Hi Ujjwal,

I tried the same by running the query through connect-sql in the activity and i am getting the data in pxresults. but the problem here is column is dymanic in different situations. but if using page.pxresults we need to mention the columns name in the repeating grid.

Hi Sonu,
If column names are dynamic and not in order then we can think of forming Page Group Data structure with all the possible columns and then source Repeating Grid with it.

Quite a bit of work but easier then using Report the way you desire.
