Display Menu Child items expanded
Hi,
I am using Pega 7.2. I am modifying the pega7express case manager menu (pyCaseManagerLinks) shown on the left hand side of portal (Dashboard, cases, reports, etc). I have added some child/sub menu items under the Reports menu item, and would like these options visible when the page loads. Currently it just shows an arrow to the right of the parent menu item, which needs to be clicked to show the sub menu items. See attached.

Please share design screen-shot with General/Action tabs of menu control configuration.
Just confirming, have you configured the above-mentioned child items on "Hover" event?

Also, no I haven't tried using the 'hover' event....I was hoping they would initially appear expanded.

If you want to always display the child nodes, then have you considered just flattening the nav menu into one level? This way they will always be displayed.
Yes, that would remove your "groupings", but I cannot see any OOTB way to achieve what you are trying to do with nav menus.

You can try by not adding any actions for parent node(in your case report) and add actions only on child nodes..this way you can see child nodes always
