Disabling Job scheduler permanently

Hi,

We have disabled few jobs as there some issues and we are working on fixing them.  The jobs are disabled using override option in Admin studio.  However, if the background node gets restarted, the jobs are getting enabled again.  How can we disable it permanently and ensure they will be enabled only with manual intervention?
