Disable EditReport button on the OutoftheBox Pega Reports
Hi Team,
I want to disable the Edit report button present on all out of the box reports.
One Approach i thought was to deselecting the "Edit report" checkbox in the "Editing Commands" Group of checkboxes in the "Available toolbars commands" dialog box by selecting the "Options" button next to the "Enable toolbar" checkbox on the "Report Viewer" tab of the Report Definition Rule Form.
Is there any other better approach rather than changing in each of the single report.

Hi,
I have verified in Pega7.4, in that pyReportEditorHeader have Edit Report button. Where as in Pega7.1.8 its in pzReportEditorAndViewerButtons section and its final section. So we can not apply the suggested change to 7.1.8.
Else, you can have javascript to disable the button when we launched the report viewer.

Hi,
We have Edit Report button in Code-Pega-List.pyReportEditorHeader section, its available rule. So you can add the visibility condition to that button based on your requirement.

The pega version we are using is 7.1.8 and the pyReportEditorHeader is in the ruleset Pega-Reporting 07-10-17 which doesnt have the button
I can see the button in the pzReportEditorAndViewerButtons section in the ruleset Pega-Reporting 07-10-17.
So any other way would be helpful.
