Difference between Packaging Server and Deployment Portal
Could someone please explain the difference between Packaging server and Deployment portal. With an example.

Could someone please explain the difference between Packaging server and Deployment portal. With an example.
Simple words :
Package server is where your packages are stored physically.
Deployment portal is where you see and manage your packages ( it contains just the metadata of the packages )
Example:
When you deploy from the studio with publish to server checkbox checked. the file is uploaded to the package server and metadata of your package is uploaded to the Deployment portal ( Robot Manager).
In Robot Manager you can assign the package to the user/Group etc...
Thanks for your response !. As per Deployment Portal guide after publishing the packages are stored in the Deployment Portal and can be assigned to users/group.
Can you please help us to understand better.
