I am exploring an option to load pega application using REST api. I do not know where to start hence this post..

What do you mean by "load pega application"?

Partially agree with @Linoy - you can use prpcServieUtils to automate your deployments. Compare it with the REST approach - why exactly REST, btw? - what's more suitable for your DevOps pipeline. There're number of solutions
