Deployment Manger 5.2 - Modify Pipeline with active deployments

Currently, we cannot edit/modify the pipeline when there are active deployments. Sometimes, we need to modify the pipeline for new deployments (new Jenkins jobs are available) in UTest or Staging, when they are active deployments waiting for promotion to Production. Will it be possible to provide this enhancement without aborting all the active deployment?
