Default Maximum number of rows to retrieve in Report ?
Hi All, What is the default Maximum number of rows to retrieve in report definition rule ? I am using Pega PRPC Personal Edition 8.7 version.
It is showing 500 .
But in some articles it is written 10K,
Which one is correct?
It is different according to Pega version?
Or it is different for Personal Edition?

@AbhishekC1725 The default is 10K if we leave the field under General data access settings for Max no. of rows to retrieve empty otherwise you can put the desired value for Max no. of rows to retrieve field

Hi @AbhishekC1725,
If you are not mentioning anything: The maximum number of rows to retrieve is 500. It will fetch 500 records by default.
That is placeholder message coming from the : pxRequestor.pyReportSettings.pyMaxRecords
If you want change, you can define the value, e.g., 100 or 600 etc.., it will fetch 100 or 600 records only from the DB.
Can you try changing the value and see?
I hope this will help you.
Thanks,
Ashok

Hi @NaveenT97
If you want to know particular SQL Query for Report Definition.
You need to enable in the Tracer Settings --> DB Query in Event Types to Trace, Then run the Report Definition.
You can search the by Class Name in Tracer, there you will see Blue Color Lines in the Tracer, find the SQL Query in the tracer and other quires too.
Recently @AbikashSharma published nice article.
Database query debugging for Pega and Pega Tracer DB Query Mapper
I hope this will help you.
Thanks,
