We have a requirement to encrypt sensitive information. Pega encrypts the data if access control policy is defined on properties to be encrypted. However, pega decrypts the data only when it is displayed in UI. The problem is, we have so many integration touch points where we send data (eg: Customer ID) to external systems. Since pega doesn't decrypt the data by default in the background, we have to use a function to decrypt at all touch points which becomes extreme hard. Is there any way to decrypt the data with a single change for all integrations? Is pega going to provide any similar feature in the upcoming releases?
