Declare Index is throwing errors. So, How to stop it for time being.

Hi,

Application Version : Pega 7.2

I am working on Upgrade project(6.1 to 7.2). One Application specific Declarative Index is throwing some errors.

I want the declarative index to stop executing. So, I have unchecked the Enable check box.

Is there any other alternative way to stop the declarative index like by stopping master Agent.

What is the name of Master Agent name which takes care of Declarative rules?

Can some one throw some light here.

Hello Naga,

Unchecking the enable option in the declare index level is the right and best approach here.

If you want to disable the declare index by stopping agent, then all the declarative indexes across application will be stopped and many other related functionality ( for example search ) will get affected.
