Deamons & agents are inactive in production any idea?
Hello everyone,
we are experiencing agents issue in production, whenever user login log off from the portal pega agents or will clear the user session after 15 min or so.
but which is not happening now - requestor sessions are getting increased in every node any idea how can we clear these session id's from nodes?

Hi Gurram,
SystemCleaner agent does the delete of expired passivated requestors data. As per the code, passivated requestor context data is deleted it is older than 2 days. It can controlled by the below DSS setting.
Owing ruleset: Pega-Engine
DSS purpose: prconfig/initialization/persistrequestor/contentExpiryThreshold/default
You can start this agent if not running in your environment. Also you can update this DSS based on required value. You can straightaway run the Agent activity to do primary cleanup.

PassivationDaemon has to be running in order to passivate the idle requestors (and then SystemCleaner will delete the expired passivated requestor data). Take a look at the PegaRULES log files to see if there is any reason that PassivationDaemon may have been stopped.
You will need to bounce the JVM in order to restart PassivationDaemon.
