Date format to store on clipboard in format of dd-MMM-yyyy
Hi Team,
We are getting date format from external system in format of 02/17/2018 and we need to store that date on clipboard in format of 17-Feb-2018 as we have to refer this property many places apart from on UI.
Could you please do let us know which function needs to be used in Data Transform to achieve above functionality.

Hi Raghav,
For your requirement, you need to create a property(to store date value) of text type in order to save it to clipboard in the format you need.
I have created a simple usecase for you, please see attached for configuration screenshots.

Hi Raghav,
If you want to use the date in UI screens with the 17-Feb-2018, then you choose the DateTime ctrl within the layout of a section and in presentation tab choose Date Timeformat. Attached the same.
This enables reusability for representing the same date property in different formats as required .If you change the format and store then you loose the reusability. Hope this helps!

Hi Raghav
The format of the date or datetime in the clipboard isn't customizable.
This will represent date/datetime as <YYYYMMDD> and <YYYYMMDD>T<HH24:MI:SS> respectively.
Additionally for date times this will be stored in the GMT time.
When these values are read by various fields, this will be represented in the format chosen. But the format in the clipboard (in the BLOB) is constant.
