If you looking for how to configure role based identity & access management check this link(https://docs-previous.pega.com/access-manager-getting-started) and for SSO you can check this  (https://community.pega.com/support/support-articles/procedure-configure-saml-20-sso-pega-716).
This should help you with level of security and configuration needed in pega.
