Customize report name

hi All,

i have created a report definition, shortcut and from the report viewer, have scheduled the report also. The report name is same as report definition name or shortcut name (in my case i have kept both the names as same), but i want to date in the name of the report.

6829_BRECC_20190102_accounts2resource. This is the name of the report in which i want to have date in the middle.

Any suggestions ?kindly help

Hi,

Which version of pega are you using?

Can you check if the activity which sends the mail is "pyActionSendMailReporting"?

If yes then you can override this activity and update the file name in JAVA step.

Let me know if you need more details.

i took other way and it is working for me. The only thing is , i am doing one pxConvertResultsToCSV after fetching the data from a report definition. After this i am trying to send the csv to mail. but somehow the mail is getting sent without the attachment and the sheet is getting downloaded in my local system.
