Customer ID format change
Getting two different customer formats into property from external DB
195006110129 or 065560343285
is there a way to validate property and if it starts with a "06", just delete these two numbers from the beginning and leave only 5560334285 instead. If it does not start with "06" just leave the customer number as it is.
If it is possible to do it with a @substring and some Java code, I would appreciate your support/

Hi,
If the value from external DB is present in some other property, you can use the declare expression on the CustomerID with the following expression:
@if(@startsWith(.CustomerID,"06"),@substring(.CustomerID,2),.CustomerID)

Yes, there is one function in java "startsWith". You can use an edit Validate rule and check if the string starts with "06".
Example:
if(str.startWith("06")){
//return the substring.
}
