IS CSPMC 7.2 exam version going to be retired or the exam itself is to be retired?
Hello All,
I am CPMC certified.I saw in the certification that CSPMC is going to be retired in December.Is the exam version retiring or the exam itself is retiring?
What if I plan to write the exam in January if the exam itself is retired?

The SCPMC is going to be retired (not just the version). If you plan to take certifications, I recommend certifying on the latest CPMC and CPDC 7.4 versions.

Hi Miki,
I am certified in CPDC v7.2 & have recently certified in CPMC v7.2. I am almost ready to give the certification for CSPMC v7.2, having studied and revised for the exam. I am confused with your response.
Is it worth giving the CSPMC V7.2 certification if the exam is going to be retired? Why is there no "Senior" certification any more, it is not useful?
Also, there should be no need to re-certify in CPDC/CPMC V7.4
Please clarify.

I can not decide for you if it is worth certifying on CSPMC V7.2 or not. You know better what projects you are working on, what is your goal etc.
If I was working on a project where 7.2 is used and will be used for a while, and I would want to be proficient in that version, then I would definitely take the certification.
The product is changing, we are moving on. Many things changed. After setting up the 7.4 courses we have concluded that the best is to have these 2 certifications moving forward.

Even if you do not certify on a new version, I suggest you check out the new content, see what you know and what not, and stay current.
