Create DDL in Pega
Hi,
i am trying to create a DB Table for one of my Data class in Pega . Can someone help me with the following queries :
How do we create DDL in POSTGRESQL ?
How to raise access to POSTGRESQL ?

When you create a datatype , automatically it starts creating the respective table behind the scenes for you. no need of any custom DDL execution outside Pega

But ,We dont have the requirement to create a datatype for those data classes. Since the data tables wont be created by default for all the dataclasses , and we have a requirement to create database tables for dataclass using postgresql . It would be helpful if we can have an idea on how to create DDL using postgresql and how to create them in pega .

Take a DDL copy of table named pr_data.
To that DDL add the additional properties you require as part of your requirement
Remove the pzPvStream column from that DDL and this will be your final DDL which you can execute in your database.

Give this SQL to your Database administrator to execute

@RamyaK4550 Check with your DB team for access, if the Postgres is hosted on server.
If you are checking for Personal edition Go to PRPCPersonalEdition\pgsql\pgAdmin 4\bin and Open pgAdmin4 . It might ask for master password (try : master)
once you have got access , check the screenshot it shows you can get the scripts of existing table .

From Pega platform you will not be able to create only table.
You can use the suggestion provided by Sriharsha and uashok93.
For Postgre access if your environment is on premise then you will have to check in your team who can give you the access but if you are on Pega cloud environment then you can not get the access of DB, you will have to raise a ticket with Pegasystems with the specific instruction to create the table and they can get it done for you.
