Configure chart control to display 3D charts
Hello,
our requierement is to display some charts in our application's dashboard. Therefore we added the chart control in a section and configured it to our needs. So far so good but I can't find any configuration to display the chart in the section in 3D mode. Default behaviour is always 2D. In a report definition it is possible to switch charts between 2D and 3D mode. Is there a way to display a chart from a report definition in 3D mode within a normal section?
Our Pega version is 7.1.9

Hi Alexander,
The chart used in a section rule is OOTB Chart control, whereas the Chart Editor is used in Report Definitions.
Currently there is no way to display charts in a 3D format because the chart control was revamped in Pega 7.1.7, providing developers the ability to add charts, irrespective of whether the report definition (which acts as a source) has a chart configured. Now users can create charts in section even without worrying whether the source (example a report definition) has a chart configured or not.
In Pega 7.1.6 (and below), when a chart control was added, its parameters could only be configured in Internet Explorer, and only had Report Definition and Summary view as the source.

Looking forward for the 3D mode in future pega releases.
