I am not sure on what basis Column repeating layout is considered as deprecated ?  Can you please share the document about this. When i drag a layout and select Repeat Layout as option, i can see system display Grid, Tree grid and so on.. in that list one of the value is Column repeat.   When i select and apply column repeat .. i dont see any warning message about Deprecated control.

In our application scenario, first column of this column repeat layout we have around 30 labels... then each row data is displayed column wise.   

I cannot put them in to row grid using Repeaating Dynamic layout.. it looks awkward and column names extends outside work area. (with horizontal bar).

You told to use Repeating Dynamic layout, whether this control repeats data row wise or column wise ?   or how to set it to display column wise ?

Hi, I implemented using  Repeating Dynamic layout with layout format as inline, it is not producing expected result similar to column Repeat.... I have attached image of it as well.    This solution may work if we have less number of fields to display.  In our case, we have a section called Payment info which has around 18 elements to display.  If i design this section with one column layout and if i insert this section inside Repeating Dynamic layout,  in display time... it firsts grows horizontally untill it reached to end of the screen, then remaining list will continue in next line......    So basically if there are 50 payments to display and in each row  Repeating Dynamic layout can display 10 records, then it adds 5 rows view.   So if you imagine 5 rows with each row has 18 elements, then the vertical screen size grows line anything.
