Cobrowse - Architecture question - Load test

Can someone from cobrowse product team answer this question?

I just want to know what sort of load this architecture can handle based on the system requirements specified in the install guide (excerpt below)?

• Linux-Based Operating System based on kernel version 3.16.0-31-generic
• Node v0.10.36
• NPM v2.7.x
• MongoDB v2.6.8
• Redis v2.8.19

Node.js (co-browse server and the log server)
• 10GB disk
• 5GB RAM
• 2.5 Ghz CPU
MongoDB
• 100GB disk
• 10GB RAM
• 2.5 Ghz CPU
Redis

Hello Jai,

Happy Holidays to you.  I do have an update on our testing as promised by the end of year.

Results so far:

  1. 60 concurrent users via automated testing wihtout server/user degregation.  We will continue with our testing to increase # of users but the above should provide you with the informaiton you requested.

Thanks for the question.  We are currently running various load testing senarios in our next two sprints.  I do not have information to share at this moment.  I will follow up with this thread with results by the end of Dec.

Hi Scott, Merry Christmas! Just checking if you guys have the results yet? My performance testing team doesn't have the tools and the knowledge to load test websocket traffic and I'm really hoping I figure out what is the load this architecture can handle. Thanks, Jai

Hello Jai,

In future releases we are evaluating adding a feature to record the co-browse sessions.  postgres will be used to store the recordings for customers wanting to enable this feature.
