Clicking on link in HTML table with 4 links in data cell
Hi, everyone,
I have to click on a link in an HTML table data cell that contains 4 links (please see attachment).
However, when testing the automation, the link is not clicked and upon re-interrogating the webpage, the link does not appear as matched.
I interrogated the HTML table and renamed the data cell to distinguish it from other cells, but not sure how to identify the exact link from the four.
As I am rather new at this, if anyone can provide a step by step suggestion to this, I'd really appreciate it.
I can provide any additional information necessary.

When you interrogate the table, it will only create the table cells but not the various controls in the cells. So you need to interrogate the links individually. It should create the control under the table control. Then click that control.
The link is cloned, so in automation, choose the index of the row that you want to work on and then the link on that row will be clicked.

It can be done with Chrome but like you saw, there is no HTML Table Designer in Chrome, so you have to create the table structure manually. I believe you can use the SinglePageApplication functionality to create the table structure: https://community.pega.com/knowledgebase/documents/working-single-page-web-applications. You will have to enable UseKeys to use clones too.
