"Clear Filters" in report definition is not fetching data in drill down report when a default date time is used in Custom Filter section.
Hi,
I was using a custom filter section in a report definition with a From and To date parameters which were defaulted to Current Date and time as 12 AM to 11:59 PM.
When I click on Submit/Apply Filters the data is getting fetched in the Main report as well as the drill down report.
But when I click on Clear Filters, the main report is displaying all the data(with no filter applied), which is correct, but the drill down report is not displaying any data when I click on any of the rows in the main report.
On click of "Clear filters", the data in the drill down report was not fetched.

Can you explain clearly what the main report shows and what the sub-report shows? And the filters of the custom filter section, are they being applied on the sub-report too?
It would be great if you can elaborate on the issue.

Hi Shruthi,
1) Main report shows count of the items in the drill down report. The drill down report shows the details.
2) No, the filters in the custom filter section are not getting applied on the drill down report.

Along with what Shruthi has asked, I would also like to understand what entries you are seeing in tracer ? Can you turn on DB query option on tracer and then reproduce the case ? Are you seeing anything wrong in the formed query ?
Also, would be great if you can check the behavior in any out of the box report , Finally and most importantly, which version of PRPC you are on ?

From the tracer I found that the when clicking on "Clear Filters", the defaulted Date/Time filter is not getting passed in the Main report and so the main report is showing all the data without any filter applied.
But when I click on any of the row that was returned I found from the tracer that the defaulted Date/Time filter is getting passed into the drill down report even though there is no such filter condition specified in the Report Definition.
So my question is if the defaulted Date/Time filter was not applied in the main report why is it getting passed in the drill down report on click of a record?
Or if the defaulted Date/Time filter is applied in the drill down report shouldn't it get applied in the main report as well?

We too have same issue, in Custom filter section control's default value current date time is applied and when main report is run, it fetches all the data and not the one displayed in Filter dates (From and To dates which shows current date)
