Clarrification on IAC parameters

Hi,

We are implementing IAC in our application. We need clarification on the below queries -

1. i) What is the importance of pega.web.config.system ID in IAC URL? We found passing any kinds of random value like 'Test123', 'Test321', it was accepting and was not throwing any error. Please clarify.

ii) Is pega.web.config. System ID a mandatory parameter? We have observed without that parameter also the IAC URLs are working fine. Please clarify

Hi Rajsekhar, pega.web.config.systemID — A system ID A string that identifies a logical host name representing system to be displayed. The Gateway servlet knows the actual location of the system represented by this name. System IDs are mapped to the actual URLs of the systems by setting initialization parameters in the web.xml file of the Gateway WAR deployment.
