Can the Gap between the elements of a dropdown be optimised??

Do you mean the Values of Dropdown (the dropdown list)
if yes, it depends what is your source and you should change the way you want in source

No. I mean that suppose there are 5 elements in the list.. while displaying the elements i want to change the visual gap between the elements. Is that Possible in any means?

You can go to Dropdown Component of your application Skin and create a new component and try out some paddings and use this on your field
But i am not really sure whether it works but you can give it a try
