Change Case Type ?

Hello,

Is it possible to change a case type ? We have two cases A and B with both the same stages. We run case A in the stage 2 we would like to change the case type to Case B and keep the same Case ID (like 10000). Is that possible ?

HI Wassim Jard,

I think through OOTB you can not achieve this functionality.

May be you can try by changing the pxObjClass of work object from CaseTypeA to CaseTypeB using Page-Change-Class method.

Hi Wassim, Good afternoon!

as Rajendra said... [copying the steps of our legacy code for a similar use case....not sure if any new/OOTB API exists]

  1. change the pxObjClass
  2. end the current flow of case type A
  3. issue Flow-New of case type B
