Change Access Groups during Post Authentication Activity

Changing the access groups during Post Authentication activity is no longer working for an existing operator.

Only, if the operator is getting created for the first time, then the addition of access groups through post authentication activity is working. We recently switched to 8.5, and i have noticed this difference since then.
