Challenges in conversion from List View to Report Definition
Hi Team,
I have the following chanllenges when I convert a List View to Report Definition:
-> How to configure "displaying X records" in the top right corner of List View in my Report Definition?
-> How to configure a tooltip on hover of each row in my Report Definition. I have tried configuring a "Show smart tip" on the cell in the Grid Repeat Layout sourced from my Report Definition but it is not showing any smart tip when I hover over each row of my Report Definition.
Can somebody help me with this? Thanks in advance.

Go to the Report Viewer tab of the Report Definition rule and provide the name under the Report title field
-> How to configure "Export to PDF" and "Export to Excel" buttons in my grid-repeat layout?
You need to manually configure buttons to have the said facilities. Use activities like exporttoexcel , exporttopdf etc.

Try modifying the section rule pyGridPaginator
-> How to configure a tooltip on hover of each row in my Report Definition.
Go to the Report Viewer tab of the report definition and check the Enable smart info checkbox.

I was hoping to use "RULE-HTML-FRAGMENT PZREPORTRECORDSMSG" which I got when I ran the Report Definition in the Report Viewer,

I am using the my Report Definition as a source for a repeat-grid layout. Hence, the "Report Viewer" tab configuration will not show up in my end user UI.
Also, I have few more challenges.

For the cell / column where you want to show the tooltip, configure a client side event-onHover-- Show Smart Tip.

-> How to configure "selectable" checkbox present in my list view (both radiobuttons and checkboxes) in my report definition used in repeat-grid layout?
Try using pySelected property ( configured in form of checkbox ) as an additional column in your grid. But if you use report defintion as a source then you cant use any additional property. So you need to manually form your pagelist and then refer it in the grid.
