I am a data scientist and we currently have large and complex external product propensity to purchase ML models fed into Next Best Action. We are planning to use PEGA's builtin adaptive GBM models for response modeling (accept/reject). Our model risk management team requires us to document and provide evidence for the choice and use of algorithm and parameters for the formal approval process. As per the snippet from documentation can I obtain a copy of supporting documentation for adaptive GBM models.

Model governance approval

Gradient boosting models are less transparent than the traditional Adaptive Models and might require an additional approval from the Model Risk Management team. If you require an approval process, contact Pega Support Center to obtain documentation on the Gradient boosting algorithm to assist you with this process.
