Caught unhandled exception: java.lang.RuntimeException: org.apache.http.conn.HttpHostConnectException:

https://pdn.pega.com/node/1383586 conveys that this issue has been fixed in PRPC v7.3.0 however we are still observing it in our 7.3.0 environment.

Exception: Caught unhandled exception: java.lang.RuntimeException: org.apache.http.conn.HttpHostConnectException: Connect to abc.efgh.xy:80 [abc.efgh.xy/nnn.nnn.nn.n] failed: Connection refused: connect

Hi Vignesh,
I see that the Host you want to connect to has refused the connection.

You can check the same in fiddler and also hit the URL directly from your browser to check if you get some response.

We verified several environments and these were our observations...

PRPC 7.2.0 - Not an issue

PRPC 7.2.1 - Not available to verify

PRPC 7.2.2 - Issue occurs

PRPC 7.3.0 - Issue occurs

PRPC 7.3.1 - Not an issue

In a different post about this, you or someone else mentioned this link about Proxy support: https://community.pega.com/sites/default/files/help_v83/procomhelpmain.htm

There is no mention of a proxy in this discussion thread. Are you using a REST Connector and need to go through a proxy?
Does the proxy require authentication?

I am facing the same error for REST connnector. The proxy doesnt require any authentication.
