Can we Write Custom Java Code for Validation Purpose inside Page-Validate ?
I have got two text inputs in my Section (One is country ) and another is Tax Field
If the Country is an Asian Country and i want to validate the tax Selected field in a specific way as per Business Rules
I want to write a custom Java Code inside Page-Validate to achieve this , but i couldn't see any option for doing so inside page-validate .(Pega 7.1.9)
please let me know , if can we Write Java Code inside Page-Validate ?

Hello,
It is not possible to write a custom Java Code inside Page-Validate method. Page-Validate method to force validation (or revalidation) of the value of all properties on the step page. The system adds a message to each clipboard property that fails validation against the restrictions in its property.
You can however do so using an edit validate rule.
You can then use a validate rule in conjunction with the edit validate rule as below:
