Can we use linked property to get the value from DSS ?
Hi All,
I have a section where i display a url. i have the URL in DSS(Dyanmic system setting). I wanted to populate the value of DSS in the section. I have placed Formatted text control in place.
Is it possible to use Linked property here to get the value of DSS and set?

Hi all,
I was able to set the value from DSS in section by making change as below:
1) I changed the control to URL from Formattedtext
2) In the control config form, under default value for property, i used the function "getDataSystemSetting" and made property as disabled(Read only) and always visible

Hi There
DSS are instances of Data-Admin-System-Setting class and values can be explored using Obj-open-by-handle method.
For example values can be extracted for the mentioned DSS using Obj-Open-ByHandle with handle key "DATA-ADMIN-SYSTEM-SETTINGS PEGA-RULES!USAGE/USAGETRACKINGENABLED" and then use .pySetting value from opened page to get the value.

Thanks Ujjwal for your time. But, i would like to avoid writing acitivity for this and trying to achieve using Linked property. Because , i saw an article where in the below they are using linked property to get the email address . I am not sure whether we can achieve similar kind here.
