Can we customize Lucene search

Hi

One of my Application has 18 case types and all cases are stored under its single class group. Users of a particular case type raised an issue of slowness on case search in their portal. So can we customize lucene search for that particular users? so that it includes objclass too for the search? Or if any other idea is there to pls share.

Hi - Customizing search for specific users may not be possible. You can re-index all the cases type except one which has the problem at search landing page for work-.
