Can we add a Custom Component to an Insight?
I am wondering if there is a way to add a Custom Component to an Insight within Constellation UI.
If there is I need guidance on how to do it.
I have had experience with adding Custom Components to Tables, Views, and Summary panels and know that in the case of tables we can edit the View code for a table directly and add the custom component that way.
When opening an Insight instance within Dev Studio in the Rule-UI-Insight class I am presented with an error that prevents me from seeing the JSON code similar to when I edited a view rule before enabling pxEnableC11nDev. (Pictured below)
If this helps I am:
- Using Pega's ConstellationUIGallery custom components
- Attempting to add the StatusBadge custom component to my Insight.
- Pega version 24.2

@JacobH23 while you can't add custom components to Explore Data and Insights, you can absolutely add your own Widgets using the DX Component builder to support more specific reporting requirements (such as visualizing your project time line via a Gantt chart, to name an example).
You can add widgets to any landing page or dashboard, and you can add them to your cases as well. I'm curious to hear more about your use case - do you have something specific in mind?
