Can BIX output CSV files be split based on number of records to avoid file IO issues ?

BIX generates CSV files and when the total output records are large, can the output files be split into multiple files rather than writing to a single file based on certain configuration number , says 50K records in a file ? Much like Log4J rollover based on size ?
