Calling Decision table from DataTransform which are in different classes
Hi,
I am trying to call "Decision Table" from Data Transform which are in different classes using @(Pega-RULES:DecisionTable).ObtainValue(tools,stepPage,Decision Table) but I am getting error saying Decision table instance is undefined.
eg: DataTansform is in A-B-Work-TestDataTransform
Decision Table : A-B-Data-TestDecisionTable

Hi Prathima,
The steppage parameter must be a page of the class "A-B-Data-TestDecisionTable"(where the decision table is present). The Decision Table will run in the context of the step page passed to ObtainValue Function.
Please find the screenshot where this worked for me. The Decision Table is in class REF-TESTUPGR-DATA-TEST and I could call it from my work class passing a page of the data class to ObtainValue.

Hi Prathima,
The reason you get the error because it is trying to look for the decision table in the work class.
If you change the page context, it should work fine.
Just to try it out, I referenced a page list that points to the data class using a 'for each page' to change the context and then referenced the decision table.

@(Pega-RULES:DecisionTable).ObtainValue(tools,Primary,Decision Table,true) can you try with this , it will also work .
