Browser button usage
Hi,
How does Pega position browser button usage, such as next, back, refresh (F5), etc. Enterprise quite often restricts these operations for Intranet PCs but currently we are implementing an application for Internet users who could do any kind of operations which Pega 7 would not like or expect.
1. Pega never supports these operations and once it is done things get broken easily.
2. Pega would not like these operations but in general things will work.
Which is correct?

Hi,
Using the below code, I am able to achieve " Disable Back Button in Browser"
<script>
$(document).ready(function() {
window.history.pushState(null, "", window.location.href);
window.onpopstate = function() {
window.history.pushState(null, "", window.location.href);
};
});
</script>
I pasted this in userworkform and it seems to be working. I'll try to find out code for disabling other buttons and will update you.

Okay maybe I will change my question as I am not getting anything. How can I disable browser operations? I googled to find java script and pasted it to UserWorkForm HTML Fragment but none of them works. Could someone show me the most stable JavaScript snippet?

I verified that this code works fine for IE11, Chrome, and Firefox from toolbar button, and also right click menu. Thanks for the code.

I did some research and could find any way in which we can disable Browser Reload button(Some places it is said, it is not possible ). However, you can still disable keyboard F5 using the below code.

I verified that F5 is disabled properly with IE11, Chrome, and Firefox with above code. However I was still able to refresh from right click menu.
I understand this is limitation from browser and there are not much Pega can do here. Thanks anyways for the code, it is nice!!
