Yes it can.  You may interrogate SharePoint as a Web application.  With the enhancements added in 8.0.1081 for interrogating single page web apps this is much easier than before.  Do you have some specific use cases that you would like to perform?

Hi Jef, i have same requirement in our current project but we are un able to performclick() and links. as we observed in html code contains , in this we are unable to performclick() and raiseevents also. Thank you! Regards, Madhu Balineni.
