Need help in automating Mainframe application using HOD

Hi - I need a help in automating Mainframe application using HOD, I am unable to pass/enter a char S to select the particular item from the screen. I have attached the screenshot, please let me know the way to pass parameter.

fldDirectDebit - is the field I captured using Text Adapater. (This needs to be entered as S and then Enter)
