Auto-Complete results are not correctly displayed as for the requirement when the results contain special characters
Hi All,
We have a requirement to display street names on GUI.
Whenever user starts typing text in the field we are making a service call towards another interface to fetch the Street names.
For example if we have received two street names "Rue du Bailli", "Ruè du Bàilli"
when user types "Rue" on GUI we are able to see only "Rue du Bailli",the other street "Ruè du Bàilli" is not getting displayed.
The same is happening when user types "Ruè" ,he is able to see only "Ruè du Bàilli" but not the "Rue du Bailli"
Is there any way to achieve this requirement?

Hi Kishore,
It seems to be expected behavior by Pega OOTB design configuration.
Currently Pega doesn't supports this feature by OOTB autocomplete control. Pega always tries to find the exact match of the string which is typed in the autocomplete field. Since technically, e and è are different, Pega didn't show the related results.

It seems they are french character. what is the default locale of your operator Id ? Can you please try adding "fr_CA" and try to search this character. Hopefully system would search that character.

Hi,
As per the SR notes this is expected behavior & It is determined to be a product enhancement request. An enhancement request,'FDBK-63784', has been created for the same. Hopefully, this feature will be added in later versions.
