Attach a PDF to WorkObject

HI ,

My Scenario is, I am creating a pdf and attaching to the case when working on the case using the ListView.AttachAsPDF ootb Activity.

Issue is :- PDF is getting created. But not able to attach because of lock issue ( as I am working on the case at that time )

  • ** Save, Delete or Commit has failed because lock "RELEASEMANAGEMENTFW-WORK PL-525" is not held

Any help how to achieve this ?

What version of Pega are you using? In Pega 7, I would suggest looking at the Create PDF smart shape, which calls pxCreatePDF and pyAttachAsPDF.
