Assistance needed for Exercise on 'CREATING AGENTS FOR BACKGROUND PROCESSING' in the Senior System Architect course
Hi,
I'm currently training some students on the CSSA material and we reached this exercise today - however upon opening the System Management Application there were no nodes available. I have added nodes in the past but have forgotten the steps required to do so - and what information to use and where to source it from. We are all using the Virtual Machine for the SSA Exercises.
Could someone provide steps to add our nodes to the SMA please? It might also be useful to add this to the course exercise for future use.

Once you click the + button, enter a node name of Local and make sure to select Local JVM Connection and click submit. Then all you need to do is click on the Local node in the left panel and you will be in business.
In addition, a quick note. There is currently a bug in this image. When doing the exercise it will have you reset the agent to run every 300 seconds. According to those who have gone before you, this will not work. Please note this is an isolated issue and the issue is with the current image. This will not affect you in the real world :)
