$ANY page definition for a pagelist

I noticed a pagelist pxResults of Class Rule-Obj-Class is defined in $ANY class. At what circumstance do we need to define a pagelist in $ANY class?

Hello Dyan,

Keyword $ANY use to make the class of the page (or Page Group or Page List) assignable at runtime.

If the page is already exist in that scope but don't know the class of that page we will define $ANY, at run time it wil take that page context dynamically. As per the best practice don't use the keyword $ANY.
