AES v35 configuration and recommended settings in PRPC v63 SP1
We are setting up AES v35 in our PRPC v63 SP1 where there is one cluster and several nodes [ Cluster (Pega) -- Node 1, Node 2 & Node 3]. Consider that we are making Node 3 to be monitoring node in the cluster and we want alerts and exceptions of Node 3 also to be captured and presented us through charts/graphs and emails etc. What are configuration and recommended settings we need to make this work properly?
One specific question we have is that in prlogging.xml file. If we are making Node 3 (8883) as monitoring node, should url be - http://localhost:8883/prweb/PRSOAPServlet for all nodes ? Which SOAP URL need to be mentioned in alerts and exception tags for each nodes?

We can monitor the monitoring node by using the same configuration settings in prlogging.xml i.e. updating the prlogging of monitoring node by following the #step7 of the below configuration guide:
But this not a recommended approach to make the monitoring node as monitored node. We can use this for testing purpose. If you want to monitor the Node 3 , please use some other node except those which are being monitored as shown below as example(just an example):
Regarding your question for the url:
The value of the EndPointURL must be corresponding to the value of the AES server's SOAP URL. If you have deployed the AES on Node3, then your URL is correct.
It should be of format: http://[server name]:[port number]/prweb/PRSOAPServlet
