Adding JavaScript code to Pega Platform applications

How can Adding JavaScript code to Pega Platform applications. Then use the java script functions as a native functionality in html implementations.

We do not encourage building custom java scripts. as it has downsides during platform upgrade, browser incompatibility etc. and GCS does not support any issues caused by custom scripts.
