Add 3 years to existing date
Hi All,
I have a requirement to display a date by adding 3 years to a date entered by user. For example, if user enters 28th Feb 2015, then 28th Feb 2018 should get populated. Issue with addDate function is that it doesn't seem to work when it comes to adding days to a leap year. If we add 3 years to 29th Feb 2016 then the added date is displayed as 01st March 2019 but its supposed to be 28th Feb 2019. Can anybody suggest a solution to this? is there any other function to serve this purpose?

You might want to try using addCalendar:
@addCalendar("20160229T000000.000 GMT","3","0","0","0","0","0","0")
Results in "20190228T000000.000 GMT"

You can use the @(Pega-RULES:DateTime).addCalendar(.theDate, "3", "0", "0", "0", "0", "0", "0")
This function will add years, months, weeks, days, hours, minutes, seconds to the given DateTime and will return a DateTime string.

Even the function @addCalendar does'nt consider the leap years.
For example, @addCalendar(.pyResolvedTimestamp,5,11,0,0,0,0,0)
I am adding 5 years and 11 months to Above DateTime property.
When the .pyResolvedTimestamp is 3/28/2018 12:02 PM, or 3/29/2018 12:02 PM , or 3/30/2018 12:02 PM it gives the same result as 20240228T170200.000 GMT.
