about Database tables

Hi Guys, I need to know if Pega creates data base tables automatically for the classes which we create?

if yes what are those classes like Work or Data.

You can verify the database tables corresponding to class in this path Designer Studio -->Data Model-->Classes & Properties--->Database Class Mapping, here you can select the class categories either it can be work,data,history ..etc
