If the Identify location action is not available, create the Case-wide optional Action in App Studio, log out, and log back in. Starting with version 8.7 of Pega PlatformTM, left and right side Action options are configured as Case-wide optional Actions in the Case designer. Open your case type in App Studio, go to Workflow → Optional actions, and add Identify location as a Case-wide optional action.
Save, then log out and log back in so the action list refreshes.
If you want it on mobile swipe, open your Mobile channel and add Identify location as a left or right swipe action on the list page.
On Constellation/Cosmos, Case-wide optional actions are the mechanism used for left/right actions starting in 8.7, so you won’t see a separate “side action” setting in older spots.
If it still doesn’t show, confirm you’re in the right application and access group and that the change is in the highest unlocked ruleset.
Also check the view or button where you launch it: use a Local action → IdentifyLocation in an action set if you need a manual trigger.
Rebuild/refresh the mobile app (or clear browser cache) after adding the action.
That’s it: make it Case-wide, re-authenticate, and then place it on your mobile list page if needed.
