How to insert a new record into a specific page within a Data Page that resides on the clipboard. ?

I wanted to know how to insert a new record into a specific page within a Data Page which is on the clipboard. ?

If the Data Page on the clipboard is a List (like a list of records), -you can insert a new record by appending to the .pxResults list. -If the Data Page is a single Page (not a list), you can directly set the properties on it.
Data Page: - Read only -In that case, you must first copy the Data Page to a temporary page before making any changes.
Steps:
If it’s a List-type Data Page: 1)Create a Temporary Page (copy of your Data Page). 2)Use Append and Map to on .pxResults to insert a new record. 3)Set the property values for the new item.
If it’s a Page (single object): 1)Create a Temporary Page (copy of your Data Page). 2)Set properties directly on the page (no pxResults involved).
For a List Page
-Set TempPage = D_YourDataPage - Append and Map to TempPage.pxResults → Set TempPage.pxResults(<CURRENT>).Name = "New Name" → Set TempPage.pxResults(<CURRENT>).Age = 30
For a Single Page:-
- Set TempPage = D_YourDataPage - Set TempPage.Name = "New Name" - Set TempPage.Age = 30
Note:- Always define TempPage properly in the Pages & Classes tab.
Data Page: Editable Then We can directly insert or modify records on the Data Page itself without copying it.

@SaivenkatasatyanJ To insert a new record into a specific page within a Data Page on the clipboard in Pega, first ensure that the Data Page is editable (i.e., it should be of type structure: Page or List and scope: Requestor or Thread). You can then use a Data Transform or an Activity to add the new record. In a Data Transform, use the Append and Map to action to append a new page to the list and populate it with values. If using an Activity, use the PageListProperty.add() method or AppendToPageList step to add a new page and set its values using Property-Set. Make sure to save the updated clipboard page if you want the changes to persist temporarily during the session. Data Pages sourced from reports or data transforms are typically read-only, so only editable pages should be used for such inserts
