Pega Constellation 24.2 - How to keep left navigation pane expanded by default,
I have a requirement to have the left navigation always expanded.
I haven't found any setting in channel configuration/landing pages
I've tried to refer to this documentation, however it is for theme-cosmos:

Can you please explain for what business requirement are you trying to achieve with this.
The article specifically highlights - Create a better experience for users of assistive technologies by keeping the main navigation menu permanently expanded.
Changing default behavior can cause accessibility issues.

@Aditi Mehtathe default setting of the navigation is collapsed in Constellation UI. We want to change it to be expanded on portal launch without need to click "Expand"

Can you please elaborate if there is any specific business requirement for this behavior or it is just for user experience.
The article is for theme cosmos, but the accessibility will also crop up in Constellation.

Currently, there is no way to author experience in Constellation due to accessibility concerns as we discussed earlier.
In terms of UX, on single click for the first time on application, expanded state of menu is retained throughout unless user collapses.
